This conference was devoted to discussion of fundamental issues in dynamic assessment that have not yet been resolved.
Topics will include:

  • What does Dynamic assessment actually assess?
  • How psychometric does dynamic assessment need to be?
  • Can or should Dynamic Assessment replace standardized, normative assessment?
  • Why has DA not been more widely adopted, especially by school psychologists?
  • What is the role of "non-intellective" variables in dynamic assessment?
  • Should special considerations or modifications be made in dynamic assessment when working with indigenous populations or other groups of people unique in worldview?
